Celtic Flame School of Irish Dance

The Celtic Flame School of Irish Dance is under the direction of Chrissy Zeo and is currently in its 16th year of business.  Since opening in 2005, Celtic Flame has captured the hearts of audiences all over the tri-state area. The philosophy of the school is that dancers and instructors work together and support each other as a family. They go out of their way to put on productions big and small that truly make an impact.

Celtic Flame is no stranger to the big stage, and more specifically, to this stage.

Celtic Flame held a Christmas dance recital for many years where the theme focused around the holiday season for song choice and costume selection. In 2012, the school stopped doing their Christmas recital to join the producers of An American Celtic Christmas for the next six years of the show.  We are very excited to bring these talented dancers back to the Bensalem Performing Arts Center Stage for this year's production of Celtic Christmas in Bensalem.

In addition to the Christmas shows, some of the most notable performance venues include The Philadelphia St Patrick's Day Parade, The Mayor's Gala, The Sesame Place Parade, Disney World, Philadelphia Phillies, Sixers and Flyers games, and The Philadelphia Fleadh.  In 2013 Celtic Flame was awarded ‘Best Dance Group’ in both the Philadelphia and Burlington St. Patrick's Day parades and in 2015 they competed in Dublin Ireland for the CRDM All Ireland where they produced their first international champion.

Celtic Flame currently has 3 locations in Philadelphia & Bucks County.  Classes are offered for dancers ages 2 to adult, 7 days a week.  The levels range from Beginner to Open Champion, special needs classes are available and there are options throughout the year to perform and/or compete.
